about this:

Far From This is a quarterly production of illustrated works and stories exploring the interactions of people, the spaces they occupy, and the objects they create. This is a living visual journal. This is a perspective through the lens of New York based designer, Erin Murphy.
Erin is an interaction designer by trade, a storyteller and illustrator at heart, and aspiring greyhound foster parent. If you are curious about her work with robots and TV, go here. If you want to check out her illustration incubator, go here

from the author:

Illustration can make real the thoughts, emotions, and chaos I navigate each day. In manifesting these sensations in reality through drawing, they seem manageable. Sometimes tolerable. My goal in my work, and especially through Far From This, is to be an advocate for those not yet certain how to express the hidden worlds they occupy, and to demonstrate that we can find our voice through practice.
